IT Security Maintenance/Audit What is an audit? For most people it's scrambling around for a couple of weeks trying to find all the information needed. Your auditor is scrambling around as well, trying to go thru all the information you provided. When the audit is complete, you have your report. Next you have to fix the findings. Our Approach to Audits We provide you with a Security specialist once a month. On the first visit, our specialist will complete an IT security risk analysis. We use this analysis to determine the areas that need the most attention. Every visit we will pick the highest priority risk and work with you to resolve it. We also review previous problems to help make sure they are being addressed. This process continues with every visit. It's like having your own security officer on staff. IT Policies - If someone else wrote them for you, and they are not reviewed, the policies are not serving their purpose. Our security maintenance plan addresses this problem. We review some of your policies on every visit. We advise you on areas that need fixed, help you complete it, and make sure the correct people are on the distribution list. What purpose does a Internet use policy have if no one sees it? Large organizations have security people working all year to help protect their data.
